What this covers

This notice covers PadeLuna (the scheduling app) and padeluna.com, operated by Misaki Ueki ("we," "us"). PadeLuna helps you set up padel sessions: enter players and courts, then generate a match schedule.

What we collect

Session info you type in: player names, a gender tag (M/F, used only to balance teams), each player's available hours, court names, and session name/date. This is sent to our server only to generate your schedule, and is not stored in any database. Our backend doesn't keep a record of it once it sends the schedule back to your screen.

We don't currently save this between visits. Closing or reopening the app won't restore it. We may add on-device storage in the future so you can pick up where you left off; if we do, that copy would stay on your device only and would never be sent to us or to any analytics service.

Usage analytics: we use PostHog to understand how the app is used (pages viewed, buttons clicked, session length) and to record de-identified screen sessions to help us fix bugs. Each visitor gets a randomly generated ID instead of your name or an account, but it isn't fully anonymous since the same ID can be linked across repeat visits. Player names, gender tags, and any other typed text are masked before a recording is saved. They appear as blocked-out bars, not real text or numbers, in any analytics event. This analytics data is processed by PostHog in the United States.

Site analytics: we use Vercel Analytics for aggregate traffic counts (page views, rough device/location info). It's cookie-free and doesn't identify you individually.

Why we collect it

To provide the scheduling service you're using, to fix bugs, and to understand which features are useful so we can improve the app. We don't use this data for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Who we share it with

PostHog and Vercel, as service providers that run analytics on our behalf, not as parties who use your data for their own purposes. We don't share data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Schedule and player data: not stored on our servers at all. It exists only for the moment it takes to generate your schedule, and nothing is currently kept on your device between visits either. If we add on-device storage in the future, that copy would stay only on your device until you clear it or clear your browser data.

Analytics events are retained per PostHog's standard retention period.

A note if you're organizing for a group

If you're entering other people's names to set up a session, that's their personal information, not just yours. We don't store it, but please make sure your group is okay with their name and basic availability being used to generate the schedule.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173), you can ask to know what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to certain processing, or file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To reach us: hello@padeluna.com.
